Count yourself Lucky!

I can show you people whom have been paid properly by Avionco, then the bottom falls out. There are other people that were cheated starting day one. Then others sit at home with no pay for weeks and months, waiting for Avionco to call any minute. Then a few others have a good go at it.

One thing is for sure, Avionco is not dependable, nor is it predictable.

It is good to hear that you are happy with them. But careful.

I want to revive this thread to find out if Avionco. Is still up to the same thing, not paying pilots.

Do you get extra stuff added to your contract?
Ie business class airfare open return ticket.
One month pay or more up front

Anything else that should put in the contract?

I haven't heard much about them them lately. But their MO is historically established. If you, I would not look for any money up front nor any special items to be added to your contract. It has been their MO to leverage things with other people's money. In addition to other holdings, they own several aircraft and lease them out, so this is where their real money comes from and why they are still around. Most of the contracts they offer are for start-up customers leasing Avionco's own aircraft, so supplying pilots puts a little more icing on the cake for them, but is relatively only a minor part of their income. They also like to work under the radar with questionable people and in questionable locations abroad, so be careful. Their contract is not enforceable anyway.
