Non airline flying

Hi.

If you hold youp PPL with IR, Night and multi ratings what further ratings do you need to be able to fly for a living outside of becoming an instructor.

With a CPL can you do for example paradroping, air taxi or cargo charter work.

Cheers

Steve

CPL

I am pretty sure you can only be employed as a pilot once you have a CPL. So CPL would be the next step.

Even if you hold a PPL with the ratings you mentioned, I don't think you can be paid for your services..

atminimums is right, you need the CPL before you can be paid as a pilot. Also, I'm assuming your IR is a multi engine IR, not single engine ? If it's single engine, that could be quite limiting.
