business airport near Stapleford?

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a suitable airport near Stapleford for a Kingair? I really don't want to fly into Stapleford if I can help it, mainly due runway size (I'm fairly low experienced and a complete coward!) I would like at least 900-1000mtrs of tarmac.

Thanks

Stansted is a little too big for our purposes!

Thanks, that's the only one I could think of also, I'm not at home with access to my acu-kwik or pooleys at the moment!

Stapleford vs King Air

LEA have done a number of flights for us in their two King Airs that are based from Stapleford, when were you planning to go in/out?

Yeah I'm aware that LEA operate Kingairs into Stapleford. I just dont think its prudent for me to do it at my stage, short runway, approach over power cables, low winter sun etc...it has all the ingredients for a f#@k up! Discretion being the best part of valour and all that, so I think I'll head elsewhere!
