Flight duty times, the same allover EU?

Rumor says, some time this summer it doesn´t matter which country AOC you have, the flight duty times will be exactly the same (within JAR)?
And private flying will also be more restrictiv reg FDTs

Anyone out there with more facts?

Agreed the sooner things are standized, as regards to AOC and private ops are concerned the better, especially with regards to FDL's.

Once that is standardised, then maybe they should start working on a common language for ATC.

I didn't write that!.

Heard the same rumour, but, like everything in JAR/EASA Land, I only believe it, when I see it. Same rules for everyone? I doubt it.

EU-OPS

Hey Guys,

maybe you're not up to date, but from July on the EU-OPS, will get active law in all european countries, which regulate the duty times quite restrictive.
Seems like being forced by airline pilots unions.
Check this link http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/...06R1899:EN:NOT

It's possible in all european languages.

Does anybody already have some more details information available about the new duty time regulations by EU OPS? Especially when the national regulations differ from the ones in subpart Q? Would be very much interested to see if there will be much difference after subpart Q will be implemented.

Thanks,

Every country in JAR land can adopt their own FTL as long as they are within the limits of Subpart Q. Most do that so the regulations still differ from country to country. Quite unsatisfactory in my opinion.

Oh, and Subpart Q has so many loopholes that it's not really worth the paper it is printed on.
