Looks like I missed something here! I'm more interested to know what the score is with BJETS in these hard hit times. It's been a while since there was any news...anything?

I hear that 'someone' who may or may not hold a grudge may or may not have been fired for allegedly being economical with the truth in connection with their expenses claims and going AWOL (for five days) when supposed to be on rostered duty.

Might explain JetSpot's little tantrum if indeed any of the above is true.

Expenses allegedly?

If he was a Brit, in mitigation, it could be argued he was only following the example set by his superiors, namely politicians.

Not a Brit. More local to the base of operations. Well, maybe not any more.

re b-jets

Anybody know if B-jets is still hiring? They say so on their website, and I'm close to their mins:

900 TT
CL-604 Type with 350 horus JET

Indina/FAA license

2 years flying corporate in India.

I heard they pay like 90k/year and have a commutable schedule like 6 on 3 off.. NOT BAD!

Pretty sure they're not hiring F/O's but someone mentioned they might need a couple of experienced Hawker captains in the near future.

due to poor management?
Nope knowing some of the guys that is most likely not the case. Starting something like this in one of the most bureaucratic countries in the world and changing shareholders and their view on the world did not help, that is for sure

"in one of the most bureaucratic countries in the world"

You mean THE most bureaucratic country in the world, surely. Totally insane and yes they were at it long before the British arrived on the seen.

I have been following this thread since a while now. Does anyone have any idea whats going on there?

There seemed to be a lot of members on this forum with plenty of information. Wonder where they have disappeared?

Devil

turbo ....you are right .....all fair weather friends.....none ready to accept that there are other organizations functioning in this very bureaucratic environment......the erstwhile management team had members who may have been good in a given environment ...but failed miserably here.....then blame bureaucracy rather than their inadequacy.......did you not read the earlier reply.....he quit......so what do you expect to hear.....better silence than untruths.....be happy

So, how many wickets have they lost since they began operations? Looks like a bit of a collapse too me.

Hmmm.. but its really sad that a company that seemed to have started out with a lot of promise in a market that has a lot of potential should end up like this. Does any one know if they are still functional?

Well fortunately my time in that particular backward swamp called India is done but it was obvious when I was last there that BJets policy of refusing to pay bribes was holding them back.

They will get there but for as long as they refuse to pay off the DGCA and the rest of the leeches they have an uphill battle. If only others did the same more people might be prepared to go there and fill the experience gap before there is a serious accident. Man, that country is just ripe for one.
