Which Berlin?

PPruners,

I have to take a private owner to Berlin soon and as I have not been there since we had to use the corridor, I would appreciate any advice on which is the best business aviation airport and handler. Also any recomended avoids or other general advice would be appreciated.

Thank you in anticipation,

Miles

Hi, its for sure Tempelhof (EDDI), Tegel is for airlines only, or mostly..., Schönefeld (EDDB) is in the south and has no night flying restrictions (Tempelhof closes at 10pm loc, Tegel I guess 11pm loc). If you go to Tempelhof (what I highly recommend) use TAG as handling.
Otherwise all easy going. If you land on 27 look right on short final...
Have fun and enjoy Berlin!

Tempelhof, TAG Aviation is doing a great job. Located in the middle of town. Beware no catering on the airport except for the airport Café. One last thing: The place might close in the near future, so might be your last possibility. If you have time, go take a look at the new technical museum, they have a nice collection of airplanes. It's easy to find: they have a C47/DC3 on top of the building. (or Trebbiner Str. 9 or www.dtmb.de)

Hi guys, Happy New Year!
I went there on 30/12 and it seems TAG has left the building. It's replaced by VIP Handling, still very efficient though. Google VIP Berlin Tempelhof for details.
Have a good one.

Thank you again for the helpful replies.

Could not find them on the web so called the TAG numbers. It would appear they are the same people who have just changed franchise. All the old TAG numbers still work but they do not have a web site.
