Inner: neither airplane is yet certified by the FAA or EASA. The Grob SPn might be intended for use on unpaved runways, but by no means is it certified for such use, let alone any use, other than test flights flown by test pilots.

From everything I've seen, the HondaJet is meant for paved runways, just like nearly every business jet out there.

Since they've only hand-built one prototype so far and just broke ground for the factory this week, one can safely assume that the HondaJet is not certified.

The Falcon 50 is certified for unpaved runways although it doesn't quite fit in to the catergory of VLJ.
