Been at Netjets almost a year and have an offer with Polar Air Cargo. Any suggestions?

It will really depend on how much money each is offering, what rosters and what T&C's each have offered, persoanlly if I was a Plane driver I would go for the Polar Air Cargo Only because I would end up killing the odd potential Arrogant git who just happens to be on my business Jet that I would be flying.

Being a Freight dog is awesome according to many of my Freight dog friends as its night flying and usually the T&Cs are usually pretty good as well and no back-chat or special requests from so called execs.

Hope that helps and I hope you can provide further info so we can further advice you, anyways welldone and good luck.

Hi there, I suppose you are talking about NetJets in the US. Most NetJets discussions on this forum are about NetJets Europe which has very different terms and conditions.

I guess it depends on your personal situation. Are you a captain with NetJets? I guess you would be an F/O with Polar. Would you have to move?

What about job security? i don't know much about Polar but NetJets is here to stay.

Is there anything wrong with your present job, or is it just the heavy iron you are after?

My advise: Look at the total package including quality of live, pay, and job security.
