London LARS on 123.225

To all the GA pilots operating below the London TMA in the new Farnborough LARS East sector, please could I encourage you to call for a service on 123.225 from today between 1000 and 1600 local, and from 24th September 0800 - 2000 local.

This is in order to obtain enough traffic to train the controllers. It may well be that we are unable to provide the service on occasions due to lack of staff, but please be patient as the more traffic we work now, the quicker we reach the point of being able to operate the service without regular interuptions.

In case you missed the promotional material the new sector is bounded by lines from Billingshurst to Littlehampton to south of Littlehampton abeam Beachy Head to Beachy Head to Spilsted Farm to Detling VOR to Brentwood to the NE corner of the Heathrow Zone
