Had a friend who was interviewed said it was a long interview not very technical only really covered his current type. Was mostly a chat. He was put off because command only for ex-military.

They look for people who'll fit in with the operation. We've taken people with lots of hours and people with very few, it all comes down to how you come across personally at the interview. Be yourself.
As for the command thing......It's true, certainly at DTVA, that you are unlikely to get a Falcon command unless you are an ex-mil pilot...this is not because FRA are ex-mil orientated, it's because ex-mil pilots already have the skills to do what is, in essence, a military flying job. You are flying a civilian business jet, but operating it in a very military environment when on task.
I'm now a Captain with the company (B200), having done 7 years on the Falcon i believe it's the best job in civil aviation. If you have the chance to do it, even for a couple of years, take it

Hello, hello! What's the score regarding recruitment on the FRA Falcons? Does anyone have any info as it looks to be very interesting flying. I'm currently an fo on the Hawker with roughly 1000hrs on type and 1600 total time. Would I be eligible or is it mainly for ex-mil guys and gals? Cheers!!
