Depending on which model of Citation CYKZ -Toronto Buttonville (3902' rwy.) for CYYZ. CYHM - Hamilton, CYKF - Waterloo if you require more runway.

Thanks very much, Buttonville was what I had in mind for YYZ. The model is a CJ2.

Buttonville has Millionair for the FBO, direct highway to city, few delays compared to yyz and much cheaper fees. pm me if you want more info.

Cheers

i'm sure you all know, so just a reminder, that one of the biggest criteria for alternate selection is weather. No point using a "suitable alternate" if its fogged in, or below minima, or NOTAM'd closed.

Cheers,

went through cyyr this week in our citation. if cyyr goes out on route I would consider climbing and continuing to sept isle where you can get a very fast turn.
if you really need to land try churchill falls which usually has different weather to yyr, which has no ILS at the moment while they resurface the main runway.

Indeed I am, however I've seen a number of occasions where crew or flight planners have chosen alternates where the weather was below minima or the airfield was closed.
