Vip Catering In Europe, Please Help

Hi All,

Need some help please. A friend of mine is looking at starting a VIP catering business for corporate aircraft. I would like her to look at websites of some of the better ones out there - could anyone pls send me names / websites of suitable companies, so i can pass it onto her?

Absolute Taste, Bon Soiree, De Luxe and Emily's all operate in Farnborough and the London area. Not sure which if any have websites though.

With a little bit of notice I'm sure 'Flintstones's Pies & Chips' could whip up a tasty little pastry & potato based something. With a bit of coaxing they might even serve their wares on posh looking foil covered cafeteria trays...

Tinny, I must have spoiled you last time you visited. Next time it's off to Sydney and Harry's for a pie floater!

Back on topic, add Thinking Food and Baker & Spice to the list.

Hi there,
Very nicely done list of caterers in Europe.
However, there is one place (among others) where catering is a challenge - Olbia.

The handler Eccelsa and the restaurant Cortesa have the same owner, so the vertical model is complete!

Would anyone have an idea what other caterer could be used there?
I'd appreciate it very much!

Regarding to the Olbia, then for us its been impossible to use other caterer. As they state, due to security reasons (yes, right), catering is possible only via with eccelsia and their approved caterer..

thank you for that epsum. I am afraid that this is the case. The problem is (what a surprise) that this leads to the amazing prices and frankly speaking to (sometimes) not the best quality in the world, to say the least...

Would anyone have experience with getting catering from Yacht providers - there are some really good ones there.

My crew has carried catering (from the yacht & hotel) through security on two occasions in the last two weeks and there was no squawks from security - we saw the sign but politely ignored it. Anyone had their catering barred at this location?

Considering Eccelsa have a monopoly in this location I find their service great and their prices as reasonable and market related.

Thank you, merlinxx and 4HolerPoler.

there is great yacht catering in Olbia indeed.
as to the handler services I suppose you are right that they are good.
still, we have experienced some hiccups in terms of not VIP at all quality for extra VIP price. Do not ask me what the answer was
if a competitor is introduced I suppose this will change

Thank you once again

De-Luxe Catering Luton Airport?

Well I haven't used them in 5 years-I 've had a too long hiatus from VIP flying.

Of course they may have changed, but there was a very helpful lady-Erica? I think was her name. She used to actually run courses on how to do specifically tailored VIP catering for Biz Jets......I am very out of the loop these days, but check it out. I had a friend on the West Coast USA who her ran her own catering company for private aircraft. I helped her out one day and boy it is HARD WORK. As far as I know, and she was an excellent worker, she gave it up eventually. However, if you have the right advertising, location & and good word of mouth, you will do fine.

Best of luck.
