Just after I got my professional licence I used a company called Soverign. To start with It was about £130 a year from memory.
Dispite succesful renewals and no changes in circumstances it went up and up (far beyond inflation) After about 2 years I got a renewal for about £250-£275 and felt they were extracting the urine so I stopped using them and stopped the insurance altogeher as I had no financial commitments.
They used to advertise in the back of Pilot but I cant find sight nor life of them now.
Prehaps we could expand this thread, Has anyone who has LOL insurance had (God forbid) to claim and how was the service of the insurance company? It occurs to me that it would be a particularly bad time to find out that the cover wasn't up to it.

I have been doing my research and found a few companies:
BALPA
Independent Pilots Association
GTAviation
and after applying to all 3 and taking in all the benefits I chose BALPA!
Hope that helps!
