FlexJet Europe pilots
Any luck for you folks who were advertised as available in "Flight International" recently?. .. .Someone's gotta fly those Lear Jets operating with their new structure, and I hope it's you.

FlexJet Europe is not out of business, just restructuring. In the furure (real soon), all the flying will be taken care of by partners only. Unfortunately for most FJ pilots those partners have the crew they need.. .. .We were promised that they would "advertise" for us in FI, and we have been waiting for that for a while. But I don't subscribe, so please tell us more - what was in that ad ?. . . . [ 07 March 2002, 19:21: Message edited by: TheDrop ]

I've seen the ad a few times. It is quite good, actually. It shows the standard Flexjet Lear 31A and then states: "Flexjet Pilots Available for Hire." . .. .The Drop: Have any former Flexjet pilots been able to find corporate or airline employment that you know of? Any examples? . .. .How about yourself? Do you have any leads - what are your interests if you had both opportunities - corporate or airline?. .. .Good luck

The add has been running for a while now and as it happens I've heard of quite a few FJE pilots who landed new jobs. If this was due to the add or other factors I wouldn't know.. .. .Best of luck to all of you!. .. .Will

Thanks Lavdumper and Will Rogers - I didn't know about the adds - funny thing they didn't inform us about it !. .. .Yes, a few collegues have found jobs. It would probably be easier for the captains, I suppose.. .. .Airline or corporate ? Either. If corporate, then I'd like it to be of the same standards as FJ (or close), Netjets for instance, but it seems quite hard to get through there. The most important is the schedule, I don't fancy going back to a 24/7 constant standby life.. . . . [ 09 March 2002, 12:49: Message edited by: TheDrop ]
