Aviation Metars by mobile phone text?

I wondered if anybody has seen or used this feature, sending a text message to get a specific airports Metar or TAF? I saw it once years ago and recently heard of a similar system, seemed like a useful thing to have! Anybody know how to access this system?

A similar service is available in the USA. 1-800-ANY AWOS will let you listen to *any* airport that has a phone number for its automated Wx broadcast.

Dial the number & choose the airport from a menu & you'll be put through to the airport's ATIS or AWOS. No need to know the airport's number.

I'm pretty sure the Any Awos number is 1-877-ANY-AWOS just to clarify. It used to be a free service but now i believe you have to subscribe!
