Executive Jet Group caution

I have been reprimanded by several colleagues for not posting a warning on PpruNe about the above company, which I wish to emphasise has nothing to do with the similarly named Executive Jet Charter Ltd.
EJG Ltd are based at a West London military airfield operating an F900 and a G4. They frequently trawl the market for experienced 900 drivers. However desperate you are, I strongly advise you to avoid this company as it will only end in tears. I have won the legal round, but not the war......yet!!!

Have to be careful how I phrase this....You will be expected to operate to some unusual FTLs which may render you liable to prosecution in the event of a ramp check, and the probability of getting paid for any work is in my experience highly unlikely!!!

I checked their website and they are advertising for crew now. 1500 hrs on type for Captains so I guess they are not that desperate for crew...?

Sorry to hear you guys are owed money though and thanks for spreading the word! Will stay clear!

I´d think they bet on the crews being desperate for a job...

This thread is quite old, somehow someone must be flying their airplanes...so how bad are they really?

'Looks like it's not only their management who are diseased. 'Just tried to take a look at their website and my anti virus software stopped me as there is a trojan just waiting for the unprotected! Beware.

The three people I know who have worked for them (two pilots, one cabin crew) are all owed money after over at least a year and are resorting to legal action to recover it. All three of them tell me of other colleagues who are also owed pay and expenses.

So I'd say, pretty bad.

Kelly Hopper - Was this the aerofinance website? If so, I think you'll agree that it's pretty well hidden for a supposedly commercial company.

I recently had a career TCAS moment with EJG (I was close to signing up); I got a self-generated Advisory when things didn't fit well with what I was seeing, so I dug further.

The Resolution I received from friends, colleagues, strangers (thanks PPRuNe), was as suggested in the above posts; only with evidence to back it up.

Glad I pulled out before I got stung like so many others have. I've seen companies come and go, but never have I seen such unanimous vitriol aimed at one operator; there's a lot of smoke, so I'm guessing there's a great big bonfire somewhere therein.

Exclamation

I have had personal dealings with this lot in the past, worst outfit around without doubt, they respect no rule or reg and hide behind 'private' operation, now they have bought an AOC with Alsair in France, I hope DGAC does its homework!
The man behind it all (JE) listens to no one and treats his crew with contempt, he will fire you for a hard landing!
Think long and hard before joining

From the Alsair website:

"Alsair is one of the rare companies whose pilots take refresher courses on flight simulators, to ensure maximum safety."

Latest word on the man behind it all is that he was medevac'ed somewhere in a serious condition recently. If he curls up his toes will it become easier or harder to get the money out of his estate? Isn't everything in other people's names anyway?

Doesn't look like much has changed in the last 2 years does it? Leopards, spots and desperate frenchmen all spring to mind! The only advice that I can really give to all victims is.........."do not compound your losses by resorting to expensive legal action".

Executive Jet Group

Lots of talk about these people, understand they have a GIV/GV/DA900 and GEX.
What seems to be the biggest issue, getting paid? or lack of adherence.

Hi Rusty,

Huge Problem Pilots and F/A's not getting Paid. To date 4 Pilots and 6 Flight Attendants all owed A LOT of money. EXECUTIVE JET GROUP could have nipped all this in the bud. They do business with very BAD EGGS and as a result and through sheer GREED are themselves a VERY BAD EGG.

All is indeed very NEWS Worthy. I would Also like to say that anyone considering using this company for possible Charter should seriously RECONSIDER. From an insiders point of view - putting pressure on pilots to do 22 hour duty days is a RECIPE for Disaster - and yes I SAW IT AND it was UGLY. They also sub charter - so you may not be fully insured - they rake in the cash by not paying crew and i'm guessing but it is more than likely probably insurance. NICE.

But on the postive side the Boss of EJG donates millions to whichever government is in office. While owning half a dozen private jets he is also the UK Prime Minister’s Special Representative on Deforestation and Clean Energy! Needless to say Irony is not a word in his dictionary.
Need I say more? You are beginning to get an idea of how this company works.

All the best.
