One more bizarre incident in Brazil
On last Friday, 26, a Beechjet 400A of a Brazilian air taxi operator - Lider Taxi Aereo - registration PR-MMS, with 5 people on board, during a flight from an uncontrolled airfield, Apucarana, in the southern part of Brazil, to Sao Paulo, Congonhas, hit and consequently killed a cameraman during its takeoff roll. Yes, it seems unbelievable but it’s true... The poor man was on the runway with instructions to take some shots for a local TV and died instantly when supposedly one of the main landing gear stroke his head.
Both pilots noticed what happened but they decided to continue the flight to the final destination and just informed that event to an adjacent ATC.
