RAF Northolt and light twins
Evening chaps,
Just a quick question: How does RAF Northolt react to having light twins (Senecas, Chieftains etc) in on public transport flights? The reason that I ask is that I have personally seen them be somewhat unaccommodating to helicopters i.e. refusing to let them in, cancelling slots at 12 hours notice with no explanation given. I would guess that they would be somewhat more accommodating to a light twin seeing as they have a dedicated business aviation centre? Is this the case?
Many Thanks,
Ox

They are fine with light twins. The slot issue applies to all aircraft and is something you just have to accept if you want go in there. It is a function of their military / government tasking.
