Video of C525 crash in Atlantic City

This was last year so some of you may have seen this before. I hadn't and thought it was funny enough to share.

What's funny is that the tail # is OY-JET. It's an oy jet for sure now.

Very unique video. What happened to the aircraft? Was it finally towed out or did it sink?

Looks like someone got fired that day.

As I Recall It was a wealthy private pilot from somewhere in Europe operating this plane. Read the ntsb report.

Expect more incidents like these as the VLJ market grows.

PPL's with alot of dollars and little sense.

Just was thinking the same. Ironically just read a Professional Pilot Magazine article discussing this possibility with VLJ's.

Unfortunately, not just a result of low-time, high moneyed recreational pilots but also single-pilot operations. How many cavaleer attitudes have been arrested in airline operations due to strict checks and balances such as SOP's, CRM and FOQA. Airline history has it's share of dumb accidents too.

Turbofan powered T-tail Flying Doctor Killers.

Anyone know where a downloadable version is available?

This is the problem which is raising its ugly head...
The PPL flying hi performance jets, as we all know most accidents in GA are due to PPL jumping in and taking off and landing without working out the performance...

The manufactures have a lot to answer... In some respects!
