Netjets F/O entry with fATPL? ?
Hi
Can anybody tell me what the minimum requirements Netjets have actually hired new F/Os with? Heard a rumour that the 1500hr requirement is actually higher and in reality lower houred F/Os have actually been accepted. . . .
Anybody have some more info?

I think the 1500 hour thing is something of a hard-deck. i know of one guy who got in with EXACTLY 1500 hours and direct entry on one of the falcon fleets but had considerable jet time to his credit. Anyone I know in Netjets has been made to go away and get 1500hrs TT no matter what their backgraound.

Do they take people that have 1500tt but not much jet or twin time? I assume these candidates are not as attractive, but do they invite lower time guys even for interviews? (lower time being 1500tt)

Netjets also promotes themselfs with the fact, that all their pilots meets Captain standard. And to get an ATPL which you need to be a captain, you must have 1500 hrs TT.
Just my 2 cents.

I've seen NJE hire guys who only hold a fATPL, however they had over 1500 hours TT.
They only lacked night time, multi-crew time, or something else, but the total time was there.

Affirm, gateway can be changed.
Also, you can be positionned wherever you like at the end of each tour. For instance, say your gateway is Roma. You would like to spend your 4/5 rest days in Geneva to go skying, just tell Lisbon and they will make you finish your tour in Geneva and start your next tour from there...

Coz I applied to NJE with over 2000Hrs on multi turbine/multi pilot ops and they wrote back to tell me that my application wasn't going to be considered any further
.
So what is one to make of that kind of reply?
Anyone in the know your thought would be greatly appreciated.

sega - One of my best friends was taken on by NJE with exactly 1500 hours and I can confirm that you are indeed correct, he is not very attractive.
