Hi
Next month I start a self sponsored type rating for the Citation 550B out in Wichita. I was thinking whilst out in the States I might buy a new headset. Currently I use a standard DC with ANR adaptation which is great for the noisy environment of a PA28/C172 etc.
A couple of questions:
1. Can I use my DC's with some form of adaptor?
2. Does anyone have any recommendations for suitable headsets, not just for the Citation but for any jet flightdeck environment?
Thanks.

I've had this headset for about 6 months, it works very well, and can be used in either ear. The only problem I had was that the part that went into my ear did not stay put. I put one of those foam covers off my iPod earphones on it and it stayed put.

Bought a Telex Airman 850 a couple months back largely on the basis of this review:

and I think it's absolutely brilliant - most comfortable headset I've worn and very effective ANR.
(I'm using it in a 747-400)
