Bn2
Can anyone kindly give me some info on the following?
1) T/O weights for the BN2 (ex 900m rwy)
2) Actual Operating costs for the BN2
Would be greatly appreciated. This is to help me make a decision with regard putting a BN2 in service or not.
Thanks

1. MTOW (2994kg) is available using 900m in nil wind. Even less than half that length is useable at MTOW.
2. No idea. I just flew them for the airline I worked for. The beancounters did the spreadsheet work.
If it helps, we used the 260hp carburetted version & planned on 80kg avgas/hr @ 125-135kts depending on altitude. There's nothing complicated about the systems so there shouldn't be any surprises in normal maintenance. Corrosion was a problem for us due to the constant over ocean flying.
