Are they the same guys who flew the Hawker? I remember back a couple of years when they were converting to the 2thousand at LFPB Flight Safety.

Shared a couple of beers at the Bleu Marine. Top guys, glad they have a decent airplane now!

Yes, they had a Hawker, then a 2000, then a 900EX and now the GV...They changed aircraft so quickly!

Didn't they have the Falcon 2 Grand the same time as the 900EX, ditching the tri-jet before the 2grand?

The 900EX was due to replace the 2000 in early 2001, but Sir Anthony found the ride uncomfortable due to its 'tail-wagging' tendancy. It was therefore sent back and the 2000 was kept. The G-V was the eventual replacement for the 2000.

There was a similar link in JetBlast a couple of weeks ago about a new John Deere walking machine. I think that had a simulator too.

The GV is now to be replaced by a new G550, must keep up with the Jones
