Kingdom Holdings - Saudi

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any info on Kindom Holdings in Saudi? I understand that they used to operate an A340 but have recently acquired a 747-400 which is being out-fitted in the States. Any information regarding vacancies much appreciated.

Many thanks

I've been told the A340 has been sold.

So the fleet may consist of the 763 and the 744.

No more info.

They also had a Hawker 800 on their operation. At least a year ago.

I didn't remember the Hawker but KHC operated a Challenger 600, HZ-WT2 and later registered HZ-WBT1 (now in the US as N800HH) and a 727, HZ-WBT and later HZ-WBT2, now N727GG.

Flexjet,

Yes I know the BBJ2 very well indeed. After all, not much happens here in sleepy MCT!!! Famously referred to as the "Starship". They are often away in Europe, only spending a few days at a time here in the desert.

Sandpit, earlier post from Flexjet had the link to recent ad from Kingdom, it gave Dxxxx Gxxxxxxxx's email, Chief Pilot I think.

The 744 is in oufitting in Texas, large well known facility, whose name has completely gone...must be too much alcohol or not enough.... Associated!

That picture was a 400, the winglets are kind of hidden by the tail logo a bit. Ya need to look quite closely but they are definitely there!

Oh dear.........I need to get out more.....

bbj2

hy,

I think the bbj2 somebody is refering to as vp-czl is vp-bzl wich is in fact always coming to Muscat as it belongs to the sultan of Oman. It is operated by Lowa and replaces the b707 n88zl.

The lead guy is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud.

Kingdom Establishment
PO Box 8653
Riyadh 11492
+966 1 488-1111

The 727 was sold to his insurance guy years ago, and, when I last saw it in Nice, appeared not well cared for.

The 767, I understand, he gave to his son.

The A340 (ex Sultan of Brunei) was, I understand, sold to Quaddafi.

The 747-400 is in San Antonio being refitted and re-engined.
