Just out of interest, what about those getting out of biz jet flying to airline flying? Is the transition easier to go from airline to corporate or vice versa?
I get the impression most airlines have moved up a notch being specific about aircraft type ratings namely Airbus and Boeing say but what about those that say "jet" time albeit in a Citation Bravo. Would that stand you in good stead to get a look in for a 747 post in Cathay?
Just pondering.

corporate to commercial
I know a couple of pilots having probs going from corporate to commercial - seems that no matter how many hours you have (PIC or whatever), they want people type-rated on the bigger jets.
Suppose it's just a question of a lucky break!
