X-wind data

Hi all

Doing a wee bit of research and need to find out the crosswind limits of as many single engine, fixed wing GA types as possible. Unfortunately my budget doesn't stretch to purchasing a job lot of POHs

Anybody care to contribute or know where I can get hold of this data?

Regards

Aircraft themselves have maximum demonstrated crosswind component placards. This is NOT a limit.

Operations manuals have limits - which can differ from Company to Company for the same type.

The best fun aircraft with excelent xwind limits, 30 kts, is the Bulldog.

Just as said above they are not limits but recomendations, but I suggest you treat them as limits.

I once landed the Dog and ATC told me there was 34kts xwind component, I hardly noticed it.

The Maltesse Governent wanted Dogs because of their excelent xwind charachterisics.

Thanks for clearing that up guys,

I thinks what I need is the maximum demonstrated values. No idea where I can harvest them from though. Might have to go for a wander around the airfield!

Recently flew the 'dog' myself, top aircraft although didn't manage to find any 34kt Xwinds to play in
