Hey, I like it.
Only problem though, is those engines over the flaps, aeroelastic response? Oh yeah, if its Honda, [Airframe and Engines] why is it "N " [American] registered?

It looks as if the test pilots do not cycle the u/c. Is there some reason for this, due to it being a test etc...

cheers

It's inevitable that as economies grow in size and sophistication, that their engineering ambitions will grow also. In fact it's highly surprising that the Japanese haven't developed a civilian aviation manufacturer sooner - thy've excelled in almost every other engineering field.

It can only be a matter of time before China and India also become major players in the modern aviation industry, and I can foresee both countries offering competitors to Boeing and Airbus products within, say, 30 years. After that, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and many more. Russia could be back in the business after a few years of economic stability and growth, and Brazil is almost in a position now to offer large commercial aircraft to the world.

Boeing and Airbus should make hay while the sun shines on their empty playground!

I do like it, but please someone tell me what is the obsesion in aviation with cheese. First the cheesy pics of the A3XX with it's hypercomfort. Then that boeing thingie for the 7e7 with kiddies drawing a plane with a 'shark fin' tail. And now the soundtrack to this. Please can someone tell the pr departments of the aviation industry to leave the 1980's well and truly alone. They ended on 31 December 1989 and the world is a better place for it. Right rant over. Plane looks fantastic tho.

Oh boy, just what the biz-jet market needs, another bloody Super Light Jet.

There are already 8 of them.

Avocet

Safire

Adams A700

ATG Javelin (Looks like a baby F-18)

Cessna Mustang

Diamond D-Jet

Eclipse

Premier

Now this Honda thingy.

Just how many people do all these manufactures think can afford their personal light jet at a cost of 1 to 3 million USD?

But then again, I was one of those people that thought that the Cessna Citation would never make it!

Now after saying the above I just read an article where Honeywell Aerospace forecast that at least 9,500, yes that’s what it said, 9,500 light and super light jets will enter the fleet by 2013.

Now that is just plain scary, another 9,500 jets into the ATC system in just 10 years. I, for the first time, will be happy that I will be retired by then!
