Initially fooled (easily done), I thought it was a single-engine jet, but there is another at far left separated by a tailcone heat shield (unusual colour?)? No hint of an arrester hook (Phantom)......so maybe the McDonnell F-101Voodoo? |
No maybe about it, it is the hot end of an F-101B Voodoo.

TBH was dipping a toe, my alternate was an early SH-2. The wool tufts make me think that this one didn't actually make it into service though. |
