Front end, the background is the structure of the building in which the craft is housed. It is not a Junkers Test Bed.

Wing-tip jet?
|
Not a wing-tip jet Graeme
|
You say 'craft', is this an airship? Goodyear Blimp perhaps?
|
No it is not an airship.
|
Evening Mel. Is it a pulse-jet?
|
Hi Graeme.
It certainly is a Pulse-Jet engine. |
JB-2 Loon?
|
Not the JB-2 Loon but built for a similar purpose but not German.
|
Is it the Northrop JB-10, then?
|

Looks like a Dugong fighting a Giant Squid. :)
German? |
No, not a huge German manatee. (Had to look that up). :)

'W' engined racer- Supermarine S5?
|
Evening Kitbag,
Not a Supermarine. Not British or German. The engine is a Hispano-Suiza V-12. This particular aircraft was noted for a couple of achievements. |
More clues:
Noted for being the first fixed winged aircraft to fly non-stop East to West from Paris to New York. Around 2,700 of various models were built. |
Thanks for the clues mate. :) Doesn't show your plumbers nightmare of pipes but it must be the Breguet XIX...?
Heading to work now, so open house if it is. http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/2164/img728.jpg |
Yes it is the Breguet 19 :ok:.
I believe this is the Super Bidon model that made the trip: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...12/1403261.jpg Open House per Noyade's request. |
