Good morning Skytrain.

Including numerous variants over 1,000 were built, and of the specific model from which it bears its name, around 300.

Bellanca M300
Pretty convoluted clues you drop .

Edit: Nice story Bellanca Viking 17-30 Story Aerospace Blog

The 300 was a rather convenient and appropriate number don't you think? :)
A tiny but of poetic licence though....the number was actually 297 in terms of Viking 300 production.!

'Artnoon Ken. :)

Since this is a retractable may I assume it is not an American LSA?

Turbocharged?

skytrain10 16th January 2011 11:53

Afternoon David.

may I assume it is not an American LSA?
The American bit is right, but not classified as a LSA. Incidentally there are some LSA's with retractable u/c.

Turbocharged?
Not turbocharged.

RegDep 16th January 2011 12:15

So what is it if it not American, not LSA, and thus not Swearingen SX300?

OK, granted: That's exactly what YOU are asking ME :O.

skytrain10 16th January 2011 12:23

So what is it if it not American, not LSA, and thus not Swearingen SX300?
Well if you're insisting its not American and not the SX300 it would be rude of me to suggest you're wrong!
However as I'm sure you realise, it is indeed American and it is the Swearingen SX300 kit plane from the 1980's.:ok:

Lightning Mate 16th January 2011 12:24

I'll go along with that.

Next page cleans a big big carpet for less than half a crown.....:)

RegDep 16th January 2011 12:32

Thanks Sinco. I never was good at double negatives (double or above), so I am not sure what I got right :\.

RegDep 16th January 2011 12:36

You can make a suitable comment, cannot you? :ok:

I'm out of that.

skytrain10 16th January 2011 12:39

Lightning Mate 16th January 2011 12:40

You can make a suitable comment, cannot you?

RegDep 16th January 2011 12:47

Mrs LM says you scrub up well! :)

RegDep 16th January 2011 12:55

Skytrain, what kept/keeps you?

I rigged it all for you to bust 1001 and 20001 :=.

And don't tell you did not look at it because it has been posted. It hasn't.

Edit:

Thats the fun of putting up an aircraft from a well known manufacturer!
Edit: Over half an hour now. This is a biplane kid sister of the triplane you relatively recently shot down in two minutes.

Taking a walk in the park now with me Missus. Back in some 45 minutes.
