You have it TEEEJ, though the first two snaps in your link are 0008 it seems. Confusion reigns. 0006 crashed during a GCA 30 May '74 rudder & elevator failure caused loss of control.

As far as I can see, any references to a B-52H "0008" are a red herring. Those 3 photos on the model makers forum are all "00006" (60-0006), unless I need my eyes tested. The likelihood of there having been two B-52Hs in that conspicuity scheme would seem pretty remote. 0006 crashed during a GCA 30 May '74 rudder & elevator failure caused loss of control. |
