10+ years ago I was working in flight crew recruitment when this Captain's CV arrived on my desk, as I recall by then he had the B737 on his licence, in subsequent discussions with him he was professional throughout and a credit to the industry ... Alas he opted for a position with an orange brigade somewhere near Dunstable :)

And the FO on the day retires later this month from a certain northern based airline for which I will have the honour of operating as his FO for his final flight.

wrecker 13th Jun 2015 21:13

Please send him by regards He did a superb job that day under very difficult circumstances and did not get the recognition he deserved. I wish him a long and happy retirement.

JohhnyFP - Please give my best wishes to A. when you see him. We flew together in AE and we last spoke when he 'phoned me at home in Singapore when he was in transit with Big Airways, oh so many, many years ago! :)

Any news of the Eng that fitted XOX? I hope he continued in the profession.
