Looks like an intake above an intake. Something Russian perhaps?
|
It is indeed Russian,Mel.
|
I would greatly appreciate another clue Terry.
Prior to Mel's observation above I was thinking on the terms of the Vickers Viking or that dorsal "elephant ear" seen on the Aussie Vampire. It you were to look facing it, would the "hole" be circular or rectangular with rounded edges? intake above an intake. |
Su 15 Flagon? They always seem to have a mass of intakes.

Are we looking at a biplane with a 4.. or 3? cylinder inverted engine with the propellor removed?
edit: Walter Mikron III engine? |
G'day Karl!
edit: Walter Mikron III engine? Not a biplane. Rather unique wing - it all folded into a transportable package... http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/6671/img342q.jpg |
Good Morning Graeme.
