Hi Trevor...still dog sitting?

Not the Gripen.

Lightning Mate 13th Oct 2011 12:28

Could it be the Tejas 2 ?

SincoTC 13th Oct 2011 12:29

still dog sitting
Yup, but only another w/e to go.

I had doubts about the Gripen as soon as I hit submit and went to check, I realized my goggle search was showing several tyes that didn't match the caption.

Yup, but only another w/e to go.

SincoTC 14th Oct 2011 16:35

Good evening David and thank you Graeme,

Is it a Eurojet EJ200 Turbofan for the Eurofighter??

Looks to be a cutaway display model with a window to see the afterburner section. (Does anyone call it reheat anymore?)

Just off dogging (try not to make anything rude out of that :)), so it's another Open House please if correct.

Lightning Mate 15th Oct 2011 09:36

Good morning/afternoon Trevor.

It is indeed the Eurojet 200, but this is the original one donated to the Bloodhound SSC team.

Somewhere in the photograph is a mock-up of the car, which I have seen at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

TC has requested Open House.

MiG -23...?

Lightning Mate 18th Oct 2011 17:30

Sadly not mate. :\

RegDep 18th Oct 2011 17:43

I think you can add one to the Mach number in altitude and some 25,000 feet to the ceiling for this one (as compared to Mig-23), Mate….

Kitbag 18th Oct 2011 19:10

Tumansky R15 in a MiG 25?
