I'll stick to Welsh petrol....even the M4 services I use don't charge that much!

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 11:48

Twin Comanche ?

skytrain10 4th May 2012 11:50

Twin Comanche ?
Not a Twin Com David

Close though:)

Ridge Runner 4th May 2012 12:07

Piper based, though? It reminders me of a Seneca but the fin/rudder are not right. RR

And that's cheap around these parts!! Normally its up at 145.9plus!!

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 12:08

Looking at the fin, Chieftain ?

er no.

skytrain10 4th May 2012 12:10

Blimey...the most I have paid is 138.9....M4 services near Port Talbot is 137.9:)

Not a Chieftain, nor a Seneca....but it is a Piper:ok:

Edit: have just corrected error on port u/c leg on silhouette.

skytrain10 4th May 2012 12:30

Offline for a while now. Usual rules apply if someone thinks they've got it:ok:

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 12:35

Piper PA-40 Arapaho, and I think yours is N9997P.

Ridge Runner 4th May 2012 13:31

Yep, it looks like it, David!

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 13:35

It does indeed mate.

However, with no seconder we'll have to wait I fear.

I have just solved sabredogs' challenge on "Challenge" I think, and asked him to get over here but he hasn't.

trucky04 4th May 2012 13:43

It is definitely the PA-40. I know this as Ive just spent the last hour looking for it without pressing F5 to refresh my screen!! Well done LM

skytrain10 4th May 2012 13:57

Just to confirm it is the unsuccessful PA-40 Arapaho, which was to be the replacement for the Twin Comanche. Interesting that some Twin Com's have been modded with the Arapaho style extended fuselage spine.

Good call David:ok:. LM has control

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 14:09

Ridge Runner 4th May 2012 14:41

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 14:47

Then might it be from Russia with love?

Ridge Runner 4th May 2012 14:48

Edit: tick, tick, tick ........

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 15:00

Don't recognise the fin.

Ridge Runner 4th May 2012 15:05

I stand corrected.... :)

No, not a Tupolev

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 15:15

That's just caused my train of thought to pull out of platform 1.

Ridge Runner 4th May 2012 15:16

Nope!!!! Sorry

Edit: to help things along - M-17F engines

skytrain10 4th May 2012 15:24

Lightning Mate 4th May 2012 15:25

Ridge Runner 4th May 2012 15:31
