I recognise that smile! Welcome back.

skytrain10 11th Apr 2012 21:37

In case there are any lurkers out there - this is a homebuild.

skytrain10 11th Apr 2012 22:29

Closing down for the night now - one more clue, 2000's design.

Usual rules apply.

Good night:ok:

I believe Ken would agree that you have control.

Noyade 12th Apr 2012 07:05

Thanks Karlark.

Noyade 12th Apr 2012 09:44

a design for the B-58?
Oh what the heck, after all the trouble I've caused you today...yes. :ok:

The Convair MX1964.

Your control.

http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/1662/mx1964.jpg

skytrain10 12th Apr 2012 09:57

Thanks Graeme - pretty sure I've seen that in a book somewhere..."Convair Advanced Designs" - it's sat on my bookshelf at home!

I'm tied up at present so unless Martin has something to post make it Open House.

Lightning Mate 12th Apr 2012 12:49

Good afternoon. :)

skytrain10 12th Apr 2012 14:14

All very quiet, so here's a quick one to get things moving:

MReyn24050 12th Apr 2012 14:14

Lightning Mate 12th Apr 2012 14:16

MReyn24050 12th Apr 2012 14:17

Good.:ok: We missed you.:)

skytrain10 12th Apr 2012 16:51

Going to be offline shortly for a few hours so usual rules apply during my absence. Will check in again late tonight :ok:

Karlark 13th Apr 2012 03:50

Good Morning Ken,
Grigorovich ROM-2 sea-scout aircraft?
Open house if it is. :)

skytrain10 13th Apr 2012 07:19

Grigorovich ROM-2 sea-scout

Lightning Mate 13th Apr 2012 07:43

Good morning/evening all.

http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u.../strange-3.jpg

Ridge Runner 13th Apr 2012 08:49

It looks like a V-1 glider!!!!!!?

Lightning Mate 13th Apr 2012 08:54

It does a bit, but it isn't a glider. :)

skytrain10 13th Apr 2012 08:58

Morning David. A flying bomb, or a drone/UAV?

Lightning Mate 13th Apr 2012 09:04

Morning Ken.

Not a flying bomb, or a drone/UAV.

MReyn24050 13th Apr 2012 09:17

Henschel Zitterrochen missile I believe. If correct it will have to be open house as I will be away from the PC.

Lightning Mate 13th Apr 2012 09:30

That's interesting. I think your reference may be incorrect.

The challenge is not a missile.

skytrain10 13th Apr 2012 09:43

On the basis of what we have so far, can we assume it's manned? Rocket powered? References have been made to German machines....I'll go another route...Japan?

Lightning Mate 13th Apr 2012 09:46

It's not manned or powered.

Not Japanese.

RR was on the right track. ;)

SincoTC 13th Apr 2012 10:04

Morning all :),

I think it's a V1 airframe converted into a towed fuel tank for IFR experiments?

Sorry, I can't stop today, so OH please if correct!

Lightning Mate 13th Apr 2012 10:09

TC has hit it. :D

It's the Feisler Fi-103 SG-5041 towed fuel tank, based on the V1.

http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u.../towedtank.jpg

TC has requested Open House.

Ridge Runner 13th Apr 2012 15:51
