Lightning Mate 7th Jan 2011 09:07

There you are!

RegDep 7th Jan 2011 09:07

Is't that the one which is attributed to a certain D. W.? In a somewhat "stored" condition?

Edit: No - what I thought was a Jodel DR1050 Ambassador

(No, I did not think it was a Jodel - I just thought from general appearance that it was a certain aircraft in a certain Teesside storage space with a certain D.W. name attributed to it. The common features were the general posture, outlook of the storage and the missing propeller. My memory had failed in everything else.)

Ridge Runner 7th Jan 2011 09:56

You are right to take it back Reg!

Edit: Okay, Reg. I make lots of such guesses!!!!! This one, for the record, was/is not a Jodel and "D.W." doesnt appear in the name or in any association that I can find!!!!

Well, I've inverted the image back to it's original, and it looks a bit different.

I'll take a punt on American.

Ridge Runner 7th Jan 2011 10:48

er..... yes!

Ridge Runner 7th Jan 2011 10:53

Hi David,

I think this image was taken during construction. The only other shot I cn find shows "spats" on the u/c legs.

Good evening RR,

Just having a quick look in and see your light is on, so a quick question!

Your earlier answer to LM's post "I'll take a punt on American" was

er..... yes!
Is it from the USA and on Aerofiles, or does the "er" bit indicate it may be from one of the other "American" countries?

Ridge Runner 7th Jan 2011 16:51

Hi mate, it is not from the US. Regards, RR

I does, doesn't it?!

Ridge Runner 7th Jan 2011 16:56

You've seen that its a biplane UAV then? :) (joke...)

Walter-Karl 7th Jan 2011 17:14

Hi R, that was a nice one.

The Neybar N-1 from Uruguay by Messrs. Moll, Barrandeguy and Neyedorff and built by the Barrandeguy-Neyedorff company (hence Neybar N-1). It had a retractable u/c and on your next visit you can see it at the Museo Aeronautica in Montevideo.

If correct, OH please

RegDep 7th Jan 2011 17:15

One and one eight, maybe...... But not bi.

Edit: Shoot. I always think after the Paragyayans, Uguguayans, Colombians, Venzuelans, etc, that there cannot be more there so why bother to look.

And from now on..... Lets see, probably will end up biting my nails.

Next time I win a challenge I post an Equadorian for you
