Now that you mentioned it...
Yes. |
Tachikawa Ki-17 Cedar?
|
Tachikawa Ki-17 Cedar it is! :ok:
HappyPass has the thread :D RR you need to draw faster, we have a new kid in town :}. |
Thanks RegDep! It seems that I'm quickly getting the hang of it... :)
You gents can continue to post at your normal rate, and I will try to make up for all the challenges I spoil by providing enough pictures for you to guess. Here's a new one http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8613/challengeyr.jpg Best Regards |
'Artnoon all,
HappyPass, That looks like the Short SB5, built at the air ministry's insistance to test English Electric's proposed wing and tail designs for what was to become the Lightning! I've got to rush off home now at the engineer is coming to try and sort out my home broadband connection, so I can't offer a challenge right now, so Open House please if correct. |
SincoTC is indeed right :ok:
http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/4744/wg768.jpg I thought someone would have said "Russian", but that would have been too easy... SincoTC has requested Open House. |

Alpha Jet?
|
Not Alpha Jet RR.
|
OK. The Pampa?
|
Yes. The Pampa.
FMA IA 63 Pampa of Argentina (and a bit of Dornier). RR has the thread :ok:. |
Sorry Reg, mst dash and declare OPEN HOUSE!!!!!
|
Guten abend Reg,
Here's a quickie to keep things moving! Off home now, hopefully to a somewhat better broadband connection after today's attention from the engineers, who declared the pole was unsafe and had to call out a cherry picker! We'll see if they've made any difference :hmm: !! Light out now, back in about half an hour. http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/.../TC_wtf089.png |
Supermarine Type 505/508?
If right OH |
It is the Supermarine 508, precursor to the Scimitar!
Kitbag is correct and has requested an Open House :ok: Confession time!! I did check Mel's list before posting, and it wasn't in the block of Supermarine types, but I didn't spot the entry under Vickers until it was too late. However, as neither the poster or the winner have been on the forum lately I let it stand :) |
at the engineer is coming to try and sort out my home broadband connection But those problems are insignificant to last weeks drama. A routine cardiac echo for my wife revealed "growths" (tumours?) on the liver. With a past history of cancer we fell to pieces with worry but a more accurate ultrasound a day later revealed a "fatty liver". First time in our lives it felt good to be fat! Just thought I'd remind you that there are human beings behind the silhouettes. :) http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/1880/backwz.jpg |
Morning Graeme. Good to hear that your scare was short. Take care of yourselves, both of you!
Your challenge has some funny protrusions. Any hint what they might be? |
G'day Graeme,
That is good news mate; it must have been a very harrowing twenty-four hours, but at least there was a great sense of relief to follow :ok: Good news too about the internet; who needs a phone anyway, you have to put the glass down to answer the Bl:mad:y thing!! My connection is still not sorted yet, but we are making slow progress :ugh: |
Evening Reg! :ok: Thanks.
funny protrusions. I don't know what those 'things' are on the port wing-tip. They're not on the 3-view I have. |
That seems a trimotor to me... and I would propend for a Ford... but I have nothing more in my hands at the moment...
I hope all goes for the best regarding all your problems, of whatever kind they might be. Edit: seems like Noyade anticipated me... |
