I saw the glazing but wasn't sure if that was just a windshield (which would have sent me astray). Asking, not proposing. Same was for the seats, have been looking for a two-seater with closed cockpit, but thought I should check.

Not on wiki though, except a red entry in the list of aircraft(A-Z), so not that obscure!

Edited to clarify the remark about wiki. The manufacturer certainly is on there, but this little fellow isn't listed or mentioned in the main entry, despite it being one of the first half dozen aircraft, perhaps because it found no market.

Didn't find it with the aerofoil because spelled it airfoil :ugh: (Aerofile's unforgiving search function :hmm:), but with which returned four lines, one of them Douglas ('192' to get all years 1920 -1929, plus some other appearances of 192 alone.... :8)

Edit to draw your attention to two pertinent facts:
1. Airfoil is supposed to be the American spelling, aerofoil the British one (Aerofiles is of US aircraft)
2. PPRuNe spell checker complains when you type aerofoil.

Sorry about the spelling, but it's correct for an American aircraft or do I mean airplane!! I state the facts, maybe using alternatives (it's not my fault if they choose the proper way of spelling things, rather than their own is it), but I usually don't put exactly what's in the entry as we don't want it to be too easy do we? :E I alway run my checks trying all spellings, including hyphens and plural/singular in the case of float/pontoon for example!

At least this one's got 2pChwM in its entry :).
