Cool Flying Legends piccies

Pics from Sunday. Haven't had the heart to go through Saturday's haul yet, but I will do so in the next few days and start a thread with those if people want to see any more.

RIP Bill Murton and Neil Rix.

Damien,

Thanks for posting the pictures…. A glimmer of sunshine in what was an otherwise tragic weekend.

My thoughts are with the families of those affected.

Damien,

Stunning pics as usual - and Grob Driver has summed events up perfectly. I think we should leave it to you as to whether you wish to post Saturday's photos.

I was going to set out to find you on Saturday, Chris told me you and your camera gear were secreted in a sandbagged emplacement complete with a Union Jack at the western end - not sure whether he was jesting or not! Unfortuantely a pair of missing companions put paid to that; by the time I'd found them the display was underway.

I would love to use one or two of these in Fighter Log if you would be happy for me to do so - actually, I'd love to use more but I know the main collaborator has gleaned a great deal of written and photgraphic material already and it's probably going to be bursting at the seams.

Let me know...

Regards

Treadders

By golly, we have some talented fotographers on PPRuNe. Lucky or not?

Well don done Damien as usual. And now M-o-t-Fence. Well done indeed.

Very sad indeed about the Firefly.

RIP and condolences to the families.

Man on the Fence,

Where on earth were you standing to get the superb pics of the P-47 and TF-51 duo? On the runway?

Outstanding pics

Zlin

In the crowd with everyone else, it just goes to prove that as far as lens's are concerned...size matters!!!

A few more as I am bored while packing for RIAT tomorrow.
