Red face Spirit Of St Louis (replica) Crash?

I heard that the spirit of st louis replica crashed somewhere in Europe today?

Has anyone heard any news regarding this? I can't verify this anywhere.

Spirit of St Louis Replica crashed on Saturday at Coventry during airshow. Appeared to be structural failure of (Left?) wing. Pilot Pierre Hollander was transfered to hospital in Birmingham but died of his injuries.

(This has been mentioned in other forums, try history and nostalgia)

A sad loss...
