Ordnance Survey Maps On The Internet

Hi All

Multimap have changed their format on the internet, whereby you no longer can view, the 25000 scale in the way which enabled you, to find individual properties, such as farms, airfields, etc, that are printed on the OS Landranger Maps,as well as also giving general amsl's.

Although I have nearly all of the CD program's of Maps, are there any known internet sites, that enable you to view maps, in a large scale, for the UK

Regards Martin Burney

Large scale mapping

Try http://www.ordnancesurvey.com/ and follow the links for free and fun. Not as easy to navigate as multimap, but the large scale maps are still there.

I have a 1:1 scale map of Australia - I don't use it though as it's a right b'stard to fold up again.

Correct!
I'm impressed that you managed to spot that.
Did you do that all by yourself or did you need help?
