Cool It's a Jet Provost Weekend!

Perfect weather - cavok with clear blue skies and a light northerly breeze. Exceptional conditions to observe a JP 3/4 and a JP 5 flying over Cambridgeshire at differing times. Envious or what!

I heard one on the radio, then later watched another doing circuits at Wyton. I had never seen a JP flying before so it was quite nice, that and it makes a change watching that in the circuit rather than the usual Tutor.

So that's what it was... I heard something stooging around this afternoon but didn't catch sight of it.

Was on holiday in Norfolk a few years ago and came across the wings and fuselages of 3 or 4 JPs leaning against the wall of some farmers barn.

Can't move for tripping over the things down here! JPs in every shape, size, mark & colour

North Weald is where old JPs come to fly.

Enjoyed a JP last Summer (June) over Carshalton (Surrey) performing a few naughties which made my day! Great looking a/c especially compared to the usual drone of BA 757s...sulk sulk sulk
