RAeS commemorating 100years of powered heavier than air flight
For those interested I picked up the following snippets at a meeting at the RAeS today.
10 May, will be a 1 day Wright Brothers symposium and exhibition. This will be at 4 Hamilton Place, London (RAeS HQ).
On 29 June will be a Centenial Garden Party and flying display at Old Warden. Tickets will be available from 3 February and will be £12 for RAeS or SVAS members, £15 for non-members, £40 for family tickets, and under 12s free.
From 4-9 August will be a free exhibition on "Pioneers of flight", same address.
Contacts for all these events (and anything I don't know about no doubt) are on the society's website at www.raes.org.uk
