Hope it's not too badly damaged. After the fantastic efforts made to build these replicas, it would be a terrible blow to lose the first one.
Never thought I would see a Me262 fly during my lifetime...

News release on the Stormbirds site. Liked the bit from KIRO about 'the pilot managed to steer onto the grass', whereas he probably was just along for the ride, uttering those famous last words 'Oh Sh!t !". (he was uninjured, before the prissies get on my case).
