Aircraft Recognition - Tests.

At the risk of repeating something already posted, for those interested in aircraft recognition and who like doing tests you might like to try here:

http://www.studenten.net/customasp/axl/index.asp

You will see links to the test page and you can select from Easy to Very Hard.

Have fun. (I've managed 23 'Very Hard' twice but can't crack 24!).

Good test of recognition ability.

Bit of confusion over the P3 Orion though - in RCAF markings it is an Aurora - the one shown is RCAF and one of the options was Aurora. (along with P3) - confusing

C135 Speckled Trout is a development of the C134 Red Herring

Going backwards now - just scored 21!

Old Russian stuff and flying display teams are my biggest problem.

Nice to see that on the cockpit pix of the CASA they actually have it written on the control column yoke!

Yes, it's really good.

Only the empennage of a Mikoyan experimental aircraft caught me out on medium.

I'll try the hard and very hard later on.

24/24 on "Hard" and "Very Hard".

Mind you, the "Very Hard" test did include the Hawker Hurricane

Cracking site, but my definition of 'very hard' would be a damn sight less lenient than the one which allowed me to get the full 24...
