Thanks. Very interesting. I can't imagine anything worse than fire for leaving you in doubt about how long it might hold together. This story reminded me of Bill Pegg putting the second Brittania prototype down on the banks of the Severn when he had an engine fire. How do you decide how long to push your luck in such cases?
