Spitfire AB910

Looking at pictures of AB910, a Spitfire V, there are a few where it appears to have a 4 bladed prop, while I thought a V always had three blades. Did some Vs have four blades? Are the pictures mis captioned? Or was it a temporary expedient after one of AB910's mishaps?

It seems to have had a four blade prop for a fair bit of its post WWII, certainly while with BBMF, a three blade is standard. One of the Hurricanes had a four blade prop for a while as well.

I found a post on the Flypast forum from 11 years ago where Peter Arnold said AB910 had a four-bladed prop before July 1951 for air racing, long before it was donated.to the BBMF.

In later years there was a shortage of serviceable DH, in particular, and Rotol 3-bladed propeller hubs so given a choice of four blades or grounded...
