Pitreavie Castle quarters, 1960s

Hi, a request to the ever resourceful folks on PPRuNe. My wife is trying to find the address of the married quarter her family occupied during the 1960s. There doesn't appear to be any trace left of the old quarter site showing on Google maps etc. Do any of you have the names of any of the old roads or a link to map of that era please? Thanks!

The National LIbrary of Scotland map collection is marvellous. It contains OS maps going back over 200 years. It's great fun seeing how areas I know ahve changed over time.

Hi Treadigraph. Thanks for the quick reply. We've now been able to pinpoint the exact location of the house, although covered by a modern housing estate! As said by India Four Two, that collection is a great resource. Thanks again!

No problem - it is a brilliant resource! The TQ series covering England would be great to see completed - if they've got them all! I spend ages browsing at times...
