The slide is dated January 1985, clearly a non-UK location but what is throwing me is the British Airways BAC 1-11 inside! Help please

Could it be 1975 instead of 1985?

Both Bretagnes (19 and 22) served with airlines (Air Maroc/Air Algérie) before being taken on by the Groupe Aérien de Liaison Ministériel and used to transport VIPs, including General de Gaulle.
Bought by the head of a construction company at Ambérieu en Bugey (Ain) and converted into a short-lived restaurant.

I'd say so, a -72, looks short for a 71/73.
Doing some thinking - Central/South America? Looked at places like La Paz and Mexico City on Google Earth but couldn't see anything obvious even going back with the history function.

It's possible that it's an earlier DC-8 with some sort of fake cowlings/nacelles - I know it doesn't look that way but I can't find any reports of DC-8-72s preserved in this way.
